Zach Banner, the Steelers’ starting right tackle suffered what appears to be a right knee injury, and was helped off the field, then carted off. It appeared to be a non-contact injury to the right knee when he went down in a heap. There was no really clear video but the suspicion and worry is a right knee ACL tear. The foot caught in the turf, then the knee shifted and gave way, and he grabbed at it immediately after. It was an emotional moment for him and understandably so, as his season could be in jeopardy. With G David DeCastro already out this game, Stephen Wisniewski was filling in, and also left the field, taking off his pads. The Steelers may be short at offensive line going into Week 2 and beyond.
